How the site handles matching answers, saved local records, network requests, analytics, and email.

Household matching
Household, income, and immigration-status answers are processed in browser memory. The matcher does not upload them or save them in localStorage. Reloading clears the matching session. Immigration status is optional.
The browser requests static benefit data to display the selected state's information. That network request is separate from your private answers and is not an application to a benefit agency.
Information saved on this device
The site uses localStorage for your theme, checklist and saved benefit-task status, and saved Visa Bulletin profiles and viewing records. These can remain after a tab closes. Changing languages also sets a language-preference cookie.
Use the available task and profile controls to manage records. Clearing this site's browser data removes its saved local records and preferences. People using the same browser profile may see them; avoid saving personal records on a shared device.
Requests and hosting
Cloudflare processes requests to deliver the site and its resources. Network delivery may involve an IP address, requested address, and browser information. Local matching does not mean that visiting the site makes no network requests or that hosting keeps no logs. We do not state a fixed hosting-log retention period here.
External official websites have their own privacy practices when you follow their links.
Visit analytics are currently off
Google Analytics is disabled in the current release and is not loaded. If optional analytics is introduced, we will first check its configuration, update this explanation, and ask for your explicit consent before loading it. You will be able to decline and continue using the site.
Household answers, income, immigration status, tax-tool inputs, saved priority dates, and local task contents are not sent to analytics or used for custom advertising targeting.
Email you choose to send
Contact links open your own email program to send to ning.wang.see@gmail.com. Your provider and the receiving mailbox process what you send. Do not send Social Security numbers, immigration documents, passwords, or unredacted personal notices.
